Обоснована важность вторичных ресурсов для научных исследований. Мониторинг информационных потребностей пользователей, проводимый сотрудниками библиотеки на протяжении многих лет, выявил заинтересованность ученых в оптимизации процессов планирования, координации и оценки научной деятельности. Помочь в этом может библиотека, наладив работу по раскрытию научных ресурсов и баз данных, отвечающих тематическим запросам пользователей. Сделан вывод о том, что отбором вторичных информационных ресурсов должна заниматься научная библиотека, которая не только располагает знаниями и опытом в работе с базами данных, но и хорошо изучила тематику и потребности научного учреждения. На примере российских и зарубежных публикаций изучено современное состояние рынка вторичных информационных ресурсов. Даны рекомендации по анализу и хранению информации. Собранный материал помог выработать универсальные критерии отбора и рецензирования вторичных информационных источников на основании их полноты, релевантности, профильности, актуальности, удобства использования. Ключевым моментом работы стало привлечение к созданию системы ученых – носителей знаний предметной области – и сотрудников библиотек, предоставляющих и корректирующих доступ к ресурсам. Для ученых Центра физико-химической биологии была выделена группа вторичных ресурсов, обеспечивающих быстрое и качественное удовлетворение тематических запросов, проведение наукометрических и патентных исследований.

The significance of secondary sources for scientific research is substantiated. The long-term Information demand monitoring accomplished by the Library reveals the need for improving the processes of planning, coordination and assessment of science and research work. The library is able to facilitate this through providing access to science resources and databases within the subject scope of user inquiries. Based on the Russian and foreign publications, the current state of secondary information resources is analyzed. The recommendations on information analysis and preservation are given. The accumulated materials enabled to generate universal selection and reviewing criteria for the secondary information sources based on their completeness, relevancy, profile compliance, urgency, user friendliness. It is important that scientists and researchers are involved in building the system as well as the librarians providing and updating access to the resources. The researches at Physicochemical Biology Center are provided with the access to the secondary resources to meet their subject inquiries in prompt and efficient manner and to support scientometrical and patent researches.
