В статье изложены результаты исследования, проведенного на основе тематического кластера «Библиотека. Библиотекарь. Информация» онлайн-платформы SciVal издательства Elsevier с целью оценить международную научную активность в сфере библиотековедческих исследований за период 2011–2020 гг. Проанализирована динамика научной активности в сфере библиотековедческих исследований и вклады отдельных акторов; дана характеристика наиболее актуальных тем, изучаемых в современном мировом библиотековедении. Методы исследования определялись возможностями метрик SciVal и в целом методологией библиометрии. Сделаны выводы о тенденции замедленного снижения публикационной активности и доминировании США по вкладу в научную результативность в рассматриваемой предметной области; охарактеризованы топ-10 акторов научной результативности в аспекте стран и отдельных организаций; определены научные журналы, которые формируют в предметной области библиотековедения ядро статей с цитируемостью выше среднемирового уровня; на основе понятия проминентности выявлены 14 тем, наиболее привлекающих внимание ученых при проведении библиотековедческих исследований. В статье впервые в отечественной научной печати раскрываются возможности инструментария онлайн-платформы SciVal для изучения научно-исследовательских трендов в предметной области библиотековедения.
