Abstract
The authors substantiate the viability of corporate cataloguing in the Crimea due to the recent geopolitical and technological circumstances. The structural features and new approaches to corporate cataloguing are discussed. The Crimean library system is analyzed, along with the practical experience of corporate cataloguing implementation during “the Ukrainian period” and when Crimea is reintegrated into the Russian Federation. Recommendations on how to design corporate cataloguing system Crimean and Sevastopol libraries based on the new practices and the concept are suggested.

Abstract
RNPLS&T’s work in scientometrics and bibliometriс analysis using the system and technology of users’ ranking publications in the Library’s collections, including data on authors’ popularity, disciplines and forecasting demand for publications in certain areas is considered. National and foreign experience in such analysis is described. The technology of publication ranking by the Library collection users is introduced. The authors emphasize that the goal is to deliver the documents most relevant to users’ information needs. The article is prepared within the framework of the RNPLS&T’s State Task for the year 2017.

Abstract
The year activities of O. Kutafin Moscow State Law University Library are reviewed in brief. These science initiatives correspond to the current problems of university libraries, i. e. building and developing information and library resources to support education and research, legal regulation of digital resources acquisition, improving marketing and project activities of university libraries. Many heads of Russian and foreign public and university libraries, producers and providers of digital resources, and publishers took part in these activities. Video conference system enables to expand these professional initiatives to many libraries in Russian regions and the near abroad states. In particular, in 2017, the Library of the State Management University and Yeltsin Presidential Library held the joint conference "Legal issues and managerial marketing of library activities in the changing university environment".

Abstract
The prerequisites for the introduction and advantages of using cloud technologies in public libraries of Ukraine are considered. The terms "cloud computing" and "cloud services" are defined. The existing models for maintaining and deploying cloud services are described. The most popular free software products based on cloud technologies used by public libraries in Ukraine are considered. The cloud services offered by Google and Microsoft that libraries can use in their activities are characterized. The infrastructure and technological status of public libraries in Ukraine, their computerization and “Internetization” are examined.

Abstract
The review of the book by V. P. Leonov - already the fourth in a series of books reflections about the book and library, library science and the bibliography, about our science. V. P. Leonov consistently analyzes difficult questions, but does it well and simply, remembers names of outstanding scientists and practical workers, brings and analyzes their statements. In the second part of the book the reader gets acquainted with fragments and full texts of the most rare sources. Some of them are specially translated into Russian and are introduced for scientific use for the first time. Chronological borders - from the first libraries in the IV-III millennia BC and up to now.

Abstract
The author analyzes and reviews in brief the latest annual conference of the International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) (June 18-22, 2017, Bolzano, Italy), held on the premises of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Main trends in academic and research libraries within the conference subject scope are discussed, e. g. raw data management, including open data technology; digital transformation; impact on university research activities; libraries and learning; active support of digital literacy education, transforming and adapting library technologies to advanced technological requirements; transformation of library physical space to provide convenient and attractive space for students, for teaching and learning and independent work and testing. The author emphasizes that several newest library buildings are designed for bookless technology.

Abstract
Software solutions for IRBIS user authentification using LDAP protocol and OpenLDAP server, as well as IRBIS user authentification options for Internet resources through Squid proxy-server and Radius www-server are discussed. These solutions can be used for authentification of local and remote users of libraries’ networked information resources, and Wi-Fi user authentification within the library physical space.

Integration of universities’ full-text and bibliographic resources is examined. The authors suggest using the hybrid model of aggregated-distributed retrieval and its realization. Abstract
The experience of introducing and supporting IRBIS64 ILAS at Rosatom National Corporation’s enterprise is discussed. IRBIS64 ILS was used as a software for in-house databases within the framework of the corporate integrated sci-tech information system. The acquisition of The Books and Journals Catalog, The Institute’s Proceedings, etc., databases is described. The advantages of IRBIS64 ILS going beyond traditional library functionality are highlighted.
